Ignored in this statement by Daedal2207 are the following facts: Nature did not give us the emotion called vengeance for no reason at all. A possible retaliation causes people to resist the temptation to inflict pain on others. Lt. Col. Vindman arrogantly chose to witness against his boss and provided only evidence of policy differences. Aids are there to carry out the President’s policies, not the other way around. Any aid who resists carrying out his boss’s orders should be fired, but in this instance, he was only transferred to other military duties.
Instead of arrogantly “wrecking the economy” Trump now has an economy envied by the world. Instead of disabling NATO, its members are carrying more of its load. Climate change is being fraudulently presented as a certain crisis, but to whatever degree true, consequences will need a strong economy to deal with their effects. Trump is providing such strength. Daedal2207 is wrong about “Kingly” powers being sought by Trump as evidenced by the fact that he is reducing Federal regulations, selecting Justices who would block such an effort, and protecting the Second Amendment. Those who are objecting to these Trump policies are actually the very people who are striving for a Kingly form of central power.
