Worse and Worse

Offering Mara Lago to the eight world powers for a price , Nearly inviting the Taliban to Camp David on 9/11, offering military aid to Saudi Arabia with the arbitrary decision that the attack was of Iranian origin , beyond Houfi and Yemeni capabilities, witholding of appropriated money to Ukraine pending a promise of a favor involving gathering dirt on Joe and Hunter Biden,, threatening retaliation on whistleblowers as impeachment hearings begin…

The worst thing is the behavior of the toadying GOP as this unbright, unstable man who would be king defies decency, morality and mercy as he rides divisiveness and racism on the way to destruction of the Republic.

  1. Helping Saudi Arabia is a good idea. The Saudis are our friends & allies & Iran’s government is a very wicked & destabilizing entity in the middle east. & they keep chanting “death to America”.

  2. Some positive possibilities: A President invites potential enemies to meet with him in order to develop a personal relationship, thereby possibly avoiding grotesque, life-destroying wars. To the degree that Yemeni and Iranian aggressions against western interests are similar, and indeed share Iranian weaponry, retaliation and deterrence can and should take many forms against either country.

Fascinating, it is charged that “appropriated money” was being used as a lever to spur a corruption search checking into Biden’s earlier televised threat to withhold aid unless a prosecutor researching Hunter’s company be quickly fired. Got that?

Apparently, there is a formal agreement between the United States and Ukraine that each would help the other seek out corruption. Perhaps this helps to clarify the character of what is charged:

“To the Senate of the United States: With a view to receiving the advice and consent of the Senate to ratification, I transmit herewith the Treaty Between the United States of America and Ukraine on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters with Annex, signed at Kiev on July 22, 1998. I transmit also, for the information of the Senate, an exchange of notes which was signed on September 30, 1999, which provides for its provisional application, as well as the report of the Department of State with respect to the Treaty. The Treaty is one of a series of modern mutual legal assistance treaties being negotiated by the United States in order to counter criminal activities more effectively. The Treaty should be an effective tool to assist in the prosecution of a wide variety of crimes, including drug trafficking offenses. The Treaty is self-executing. It provides for a broad range of cooperation in criminal matters. Mutual assistance available under the Treaty includes: taking of testimony or statements of persons; providing documents, records, and articles of evidence; serving documents; locating or identifying persons; transferring persons in custody for testimony or other purposes; executing requests for searches and seizures; assisting in proceedings related to restraint, confiscation, forfeiture of assets, restitution, and collection of fines; and any other form of assistance not prohibited by the laws of the requested state. I recommend that the Senate give early and favorable consideration to the Treaty and give its advice and consent to ratification.”
    WILLIAM J. CLINTON.”
