Very sorry, daedal2207. Not current in the bloodletting. To use the old cliche, words have meaning and MOM/POTUS normalizing the spewing of hate and fear will continue to have tragic consequences. We will continue to suffer in random settings until the spread of such vitriolic violence becomes so unbearable that we are shaken to corrective action. There is nothing of sophistication in what we’re experiencing versus Third World societies. Our arrogance in hailing total individuality as an expression of exceptionalism highlights our ignorance and downward spiral. Flexibility in blending is how human kind moved forward … not leaderless, but where the healthy common good was recognized. In the meantime, we mourn.
