The Destabilzation (MOMification) of America ,A Continuing Story

A thoroughly politicized SCOTUS delivered immigration practice into the hands of MOM aka POTUS.It was the reward for a M’Connell sponsored Republican denial of Obama’s appointment right and the latest dividend on the Gosuch appointment,reserved for the possibility of a Republican 2016 victory.(accomplished through Hillary Clinton intransigence,FBI(Comey)interference and Russian manipulation.
I believe that rather than moving the doomsday clock back MOM has moved it up.The matter of verification has not been addressed and Kim Jong Un will never permit the humiliating inspections that the likes of Bolton will(not unreasonably) demand The meeting with Putin (MOM solicited) will reveal what else Trump has to give away in his rush to claim greatness and to blackmail justice.( Not his DOJ and not the crippled SCOTUS).
I watched MOM hypocritically embrace Old Glory declaring his love and found myself relieved that the flag was plastic encased and that there was no exudate of orange slime when his embrace ended.
The Mueller noose continues to tighten ,but with normative respect for NOT influencing elections(November) there will probably not be announcements forthcoming, except for new indictments.The district courts are not restrained in this way(Washington and New York) and despite some evidence of judicial inclination toward presidential omnipotence in N.Y.,are likely to continue to supply the MOM and supporter hated Fourth Estate.
THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF JUSTICE KENNEDY’S RESIGNATION HERALDS ANOTHER WIN FOR SCOTUS’ IRREDEEMABLEPOLITICIZATION!!!

  1. As regards SCOTUS and Kennedy’s resignation, could Daedal2207 explain (provide some detail) what he means by “Irredeemable politicization”? How will “it” be “irredeemable”? Please include an explanation as to why it is thought that “this” will be different from past United States history and will be harmful.

  2. 28 June ushers in another mass shooting Five dead,several wounded in Annapolis MD at a local newspaper called the Capital Gazette.No good guy with a gun present.Bad guy with a shotgun.responsible….Responder to MOM villification of the Fourtfh estate ? .Qui’en Sabe ?..At the very least this is another indication that the USA is an uncivil place.Maybe our leader can get a promise of help from Putin!?

    1. daedal2207 … the only help from Putin will be in advising MOM to ratchet up fear and hate, then all solutions to deadly actions will come under “national security” and more totalitarian control. Funny the opposition always pushes the goal posts further in search of proof beyond our eyes and ears … and logical thought … especially when they’re unable to provide thei4 own or address actuality. At this moment, I would like to share promotion of universal love via one of my dearest friends, JE. Surely, there’s not one fairy-tale religious thought in the below (dedicated to RMV and AT) … the ideal of universal peace:

      “This Is My Song by Lloyd Stone and Georgia Harkness – Your Daily Poem

      This is my song, O God of all the nations,
      a song of peace for lands afar and mine;
      this is my home, the country where my heart is;
      here are my hopes, my dreams, my holy shrine:
      but other hearts in other lands are beating
      with hopes and dreams as true and high as mine.

      My country’s skies are bluer than the ocean,
      and sunlight beams on cloverleaf and pine;
      but other lands have sunlight too, and clover,
      and skies are everywhere as blue as mine:
      O hear my song, thou God of all the nations,
      a song of peace for their land and for mine.

      May truth and freedom come to every nation;
      may peace abound where strife has raged so long;
      that each may seek to love and build together,
      a world united, righting every wrong;
      a world united in its love for freedom,
      proclaiming peace together in one song.*

      *Third stanza by Georgia Harkness.

      Lloyd Stone (1912 – 1993) was born in California and attended the University of Southern California as a music major, with the intent of becoming a teacher. Instead, he joined a circus bound for Hawaii and remained there for the rest of his life, writing poems and songs. This is his best known work; stanzas 1 and 2 were written in 1934 when Lloyd was 22 years old. Often combined with several additional verses by Georgia Harkness, the poem is typically sung to the tune Finlandia, composed by Jean Sibelius. Lloyd also wrote a musical based on Joyce Kilmer’s poem, ‘Trees,’ and several books of Hawaii-themed poems. Said one reviewer, ‘[Stone] does not sing of the palms and the surf, but of the earthy human beauty which is the heritage of the islands.’”

      Thank you, daedal2207!

        Maybe SB can logically explain how Trump’s process of diminishing regulations and making smaller the government’s control over every citizen can honestly be described as “more totalitarian”? Maybe too, she can explain how “fear” and “hate” are not the high-octane forces behind the effort to “dump Trump”?

        Who could be against “universal love”? Isn’t this one of the “platitudes” that reveals nothing but sounds and FEELS so noble?

        Another question: Who with a rational mind thinks that all the diverse peoples of the earth are ever going to share agreement as to what should and should not be “loved”? The fact that it is possible to “love” things and beliefs (which become definitive in adult human beings) that diminish and destroy indicates the depth of the challenge before us.

    2. Answer to Daedal2207 comment dated 28 Jun 3:06 pm

      A mentally disturbed individual engages in a vicious life-killing act – five dead, several wounded. Daedal2207 writes: “At the very least this is another indication that the USA is an uncivil place.” Maybe he is right. Maybe, as he seems to suggest, the U.S. is among the worst of the worst, but maybe not. What is he comparing us to that warrants a low opinion? Given the complex range of inborn, and socially influenced human sentiments, rational and irrational, what is the “best” that can honestly be expected? I ask for the best because with such natural diversity it is not rational to expect “perfect”. What other “groups” consisting of approximately 330 million people have fewer such outbursts of destruction? For the average citizen is the risk of being so victimized greater or lesser? If we are comparatively so “uncivil” why are vast numbers of people from other parts of the world going to such pains to join US?
      There are other forms of uncivility on the rise, such as insinuations that those with whom there is disagreement are not just wrong, but are evil. Accusations of lawbreaking are directed at others when in truth evidence is lacking or completely non-existent. Individuals at their homes, at restaurants, at the movies, are being hounded, accosted, screamed at, because they support ideas FELT to be blasphemous, an assault against their (certainly-superior-in-their-mind) ideology. I think that we are involved in a civil war. It is that of religious-like, faith-based “moralists” versus that-which-is-measurable pragmatists. It is a major challenge to keep the process of battle “civil”.
