We have been flooded with news, fake news, conspiracy theories, and a general rise in antagonistic behavior between citizens of the U.S.

We are told that CBO estimates of the cost in dollars and loss of protection for Americans are wrong, and promises to repeal and replace Obamacare are now replaced by “let’s repeal and take a year or so to replace”.

Even if true, there is little relevance to the current probe into collusion and obstruction of justice, unless the golden shower fantasy is being used by Russia as blackmail. However, being indebted to Russian moneylenders to the tune of $900 million to several billion dollars would be enough spin to make the shower scenario unnecessary.

The demand that FBI sources and data be turned over to The Senate investigation committee is both unlawful and absurd. So, too, is the demand that state and local governments turn over voting statistics and personal information to a Presidential investigation committee.

An Administration and a Party, which are fighting identity and veracity issues, cannot be effective on the world stage. The Democratic Party should not gloat because America is threatened, and the Party has its own credibility and issues with respect to identity.
